Tegan M Brozyna is a painter and mixed media artist based out of Brooklyn, NY. Brozyna recently received a MFA in Painting from Brooklyn College where she was a Graduate Teaching Fellow, and a recipient of the Cerf Award in Art as well as the Dean's Award in Art. She previously completed a PostBaccalaureate Fellowship at New York Center for Art and Media Studies and holds a BA in Painting. Brozyna is a recipient of the Daniel Vollmer Art Scholarship.
Brozyna has exhibited in group and solo exhibitions in New York and Brooklyn as well as in Philadelphia, Harrisburg, and Allentown, PA. She has also shown work internationally in Orvieto, Italy and Blonduos, Iceland. Recently as part of a solo exhibition, three of Brozyna's largescale sculptural pieces were on view at the Philadelphia International Airport. In addition to teaching at Brooklyn College, Brozyna has lectured at Messiah College and Hussian School of Art in Philadelphia. She is a former artist in residence at World Class Learning Academy in New York, Textile Arts Center, and the Icelandic Textile Center in Blonduos, Iceland.
