FAD Market returns to Governors Island for its sixth season, popping up for two summer weekends in June and July! Set along the tree-lined King Ave, between historic early 20th-century buildings, this outdoor market is just steps from Yankee Pier (where Brooklyn ferries dock) and Liggett Terrace’s bustling food stalls.

Each weekend features a fresh lineup of 40+ independent makers, designers, artists, and small businesses. Discover handcrafted jewelry, art, apparel, bath and body care, home goods, artisanal packaged foods, and more — all thoughtfully curated and locally made.

Hop on the ferry, wander the island, and make a full day of it. With waterfront views, open green space, and great food nearby, this is summer on Governors Island done right.

Governors Island is a 172-acre oasis in New York Harbor, nestled between Lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn waterfront. Pack a picnic, lounge on the grass, or grab a bite from spots like Makina Cafe, Little Eva’s, Island Oyster, and Pizza Yard. FAD Market at Governor’s Island is accessible via ferry from Manhattan and Brooklyn. Governors Island Manhattan ferries will run daily from the Battery Maritime Building at 10 South Street, New York, NY. Governor’s Island Brooklyn ferries will run Saturdays and Sundays from both Pier 6 in Brooklyn Bridge Park and Atlantic Basin in Red Hook. Tickets are available here.
