Join FAD Market at Governors Island!

Thank you for your interest in becoming a participant and joining the FAD MARKET community of artists, designers, vintage, market and flea enthusiasts. We are here to help you promote your work and strengthen your brand as well as offer a unique and conveniently located venues like Governors Island.

Full booths at our treelined outdoor market at Governors Island are 10' x 10' and includes a 6’ x 30” table and one chair. The cost is $300/weekend. If you would like to upgrade to an 8’ x 30” table, there is an additional cost of $5.

Half Booth / Booth Share, half a 10’ x 10’ space, is $200/weekend and includes one 4’ x 30” table and one chair. If you apply with a fellow maker, please note the maker on your application. Everyone must complete an application form and be vetted by FAD Market. If you are applying independently, you will have a stand-alone half booth. This is only applicable for the Governors Island market.

We do not have one-day booths.

There is overnight storage available onsite.

Additional tables, chairs, rolling racks, and hangers are available for rent.

Table (8’ x 30”) - $25.
Table (6' x 30") - $20.
Table (4' x 30") - $15.
Chair - $10.
Rolling Rack (66" L, Chrome Finish, on Wheels) - $35.
Hangers (40 pack) - $10

Tents: The market is located on a tree-lined street that provides natural shade. You are welcome to bring your own tent. For full booths, tents must be 10’ x 10’ with WHITE canopies only. There are no exceptions. We will ask you to remove your tent should it be another color. Half booths must use a 5’ x 5’ tent with a white canopy or share their 10’ x 10’ white canopy tent. You must notify FAD Market ahead of time that you would like to bring a 10’ x 10’ white canopy tent and would like to be paired with another half booth vendor. If you bring a 10’ x 10’ and you are not placed next to another half booth vendor, you may be asked to break it down. Tents must be secured with proper weights. We have sandbags available for rent and cost $5/bag. We have a limited supply of tents for rent. Please contact us directly to secure one. The cost is $50/tent. It is first come, first served.

10' x 10' booths include a 6’ x 30” table and one chair. If you would like to upgrade to a 8’ x 30” table, there will be an additional cost of $5. Please check the box below. For booth shares, it will include one 4’ x 30” table and one chair. If you apply with a fellow maker, they must apply separately and also be vetted by FAD Market. You can work out your booth and rentals accordingly. If you are applying independently, you will have a stand alone half booth. This is only applicable for the Governors Island market. For this market, please note that only a handful of booths are allocated for booth shares and not guaranteed. If you are selected into the market and there are no booth shares remaining, you will be automatically assigned a full booth unless you check below that you are not interested in this option. We do not offer one-day booths.

If you selected a 10' x 10' booth, would you like to upgrade your table to one 8' x 30" table?
Prime Placement ($10-20) *
We have allocated a handful of booths near the entrance of Division Road, which you can reserve for $20. This section is called Prime. We have also allocated a handful of tables in the mid-section, called Center, which you can reserve for $10. This is subject to availability and approval.
Do you plan to bring a white canopy tent with weights?
The market is located on a tree-lined street that provides natural shade. You are welcome to bring your own tent. The tent for a FULL booth must be 10’ x 10’ and a HALF booth (unless sharing with another maker) must be 5’ x 5’ with WHITE canopies only. There are no exceptions. We will ask you to remove your tent should it be another color or size. If you have a 10’ x 10’ tent and selected a booth share, we can ask another booth share vendor if they want to share your tent. Tents must be secured with proper weights.

Agreement *
By clicking I agree, you, the vendor, acknowledges that s/he has read the FAD Market term and conditions (found in the FAQ for Vendors page, which can be found on the navigation bar) and FAD Market at Governors Island Market Information (found at the top of this application, above the form field), agreeing to be bound by such agreement and rules in the event that vendor accepts an offer from FAD Market to participate in the market.
