FAD Market returns to Montague Street this summer! We’re taking over Open Streets on Montague for one day only—bringing over 50 talented makers, designers, and small businesses to the heart of Brooklyn Heights for a day of shopping, strolling, and community fun. Explore a curated lineup of handmade jewelry, apparel, bath and body care, tableware, home décor, and artisanal treats—spanning two bustling blocks from Clinton to Hicks Street.
Come spend the day discovering Montague Street, connecting with local creatives and neighborhood businesses, and soaking up the charm of historic Brooklyn Heights.
Brooklyn Heights is one of our favorite neighborhoods, and we’ve got a go-to list of local gems to explore while you're in the area:
Start your day with pastries from L’Appartement 4F (they sell out fast!). Grab handmade xiao long bao at Din Soup Dumplings, or unwind with some feline friends at the Brooklyn Cat Cafe. In the mood for a meal? Khaosan Thai Brooklyn delivers bold flavors, Montague Diner nails classic comfort food, and Chama Mama brings a modern Georgian twist. Don’t miss longtime neighborhood staples like Lassen and Hennigs, Books Are Magic, and the Brooklyn Women’s Exchange —a volunteer-run shop supporting independent makers since 1854.
